Sing Again 3, EP. 11, So Soo Bin Recives Love Confessioned, Top 7 Appears

The 11th episode of Singer Gain 3 continues with the semi-finals with the audience following last week. It is finally the day when the long-awaited finalists are decided. In this episode, something unimaginable in Singer Gain's history will happen. Who will be the finalists and what the unimaginable will be? Shin Hae-sol vs. LeeJean

Last week, when Shin Hae-sol and LeeJean's scores were tied, I was very curious about what their future would be like. This is because the broadcasting stations ended it without showing the results. Today, the results were announced as soon as it started.

 

 

After discussion by the judges, Shin Hae-sol, who showed an all-time great performance, will advance to the final first. That doesn't mean Lee Jean is out, because there is still a consolation match.

 

 

Chae Bo-hoon vs. Choo Seung-yeop

Two contestants with strong personalities competed. Both contestants are rock-based vocalists. I'm curious about the outcome of this competition between the two singers, who have been on an amazing rise over and over again.

 

 

Choo Seung-yeop

Choo Seung-yeop, who prepared a stage without a guitar for the first time since attempting to become Sing Again, selected Resurrection 's 'Rain and Your Story' to compete with only his voice . It is said that he went on stage bare-body without a guitar for the first time in 20 years. Choo Seung-yeop's all-time great song, filled with exclamations, is born on this stage.

Chae Bo-hoon

Chae Bo-hoon, who was the only one to receive All Again in the last round, said he wanted to make the semi-finals a stage where he could enjoy it as if it were his own performance. Cho Yong-pil's song is selected and, in keeping with the determination of the stage, it creates an exciting and wonderful stage, like a  'Chae Bo-hoon concert'.

The judges who watched Chae Bo-hoon's stage gave high praise, saying,   " The perfect chemistry with the band shone, and it was a stage reminiscent of the finale of a rock festival".

 

 

The judges are going crazy. They are in serious trouble, ripping their hair off the best performance ever performed by two contestants. After taking the time to think carefully, the button has finally been pressed. But, oh no! It's 4 vs. 4 again.

 

 

The judges are in trouble again. Who will make it to the finals! However, the judges did not give in until the end to protect the singer they chose. In the end, they couldn't come to an agreement, so both of them were sent to the repechage match.

 

 

So Soo-bin vs. Hong Isak

So Soo-bin went on stage first, and the opponent was about to be revealed. "Oh~ No... Please, you shouldn't..." As soon as the opponent was revealed, the judges and the audience, who were nervous, had no choice but to scream, "Ahhhh! Oh my gosh!!".

 

 

Please, the eardrum boyfriends who had hoped it would not happen, because the battle between the 1st and 2nd places in the popular vote and the two strongest candidates for the championship has come true.  

 

 

The judges were more than sad about this match, they were angry, and the audience was screaming and holding their heads. 

 

 

The person who decided on this matchup was So Soo-bin. The reason is because he had once lost to Hong Isak in the second round.

So Soo-bin, the sweetly melting eardrum boyfriend, selected ‘Try again’ as the song that goes best with Sing Again. All the women, including the audience and judges, went crazy over the unrivaled voice. It's a song that doesn't need any more words, so please enjoy it for yourself.

So Soobin received rave reviews from judge Lee Hae-ri, who said that the song was so good that it was difficult to find a reason for it. She even confesses to Soo-bin Soo-bin that she “ likes him.” Not to be outdone, judge Code Kunst made an unconventional declaration to Soo-bin, saying", I love her." That was because his song was extremely sweet. 

 

 

Hong Isak

If So Soo-bin is a sweet eardrum boyfriend, I think Hong Isak is a warm eardrum boyfriend. When you listen to Hong Isak's song, doesn't it feel like the sun is shining warmly even though you are lonely? Hong Isak , who selected  'To an Old Friend of Travel Sketch ', shows not only extreme softness but also intense power on this stage.

As expected, it was an amazing stage. It received rave reviews for being a performance that properly demonstrated Hong Isak's musical capabilities. Judges Sunmi and Lee Hae-ri's chin of true worked hard today as always.

 

 

At this point, I think the judges' heads will explode. Which of the two singers will they choose? I am in deep trouble and don't know what to do. What was the result?

 

 

The judges are unable to raise their heads until the last moment of pressing the button due to the sadness of having to choose one person. In the end, Hong Isak received 6A and advanced to the final round first. 

 

 

So Soobin unfortunately lost to Hong Isak again like second round, but I liked Soo-bin Soo's song much better. So Soobin fighting!!  

 

Lim Jisoo vs Kang Seonghee

It was a battle between two powerful vocalists who dominated the stage every time. The singer who made this competition happen is Kang Seong-hee. It is said that she chose Lim Ji-soo as her opponent because she seemed to have similar musical color and depth to her.

 

Lim Jisoo

Jisoo Lim challenges the blues genre on this stage. Wanting to put an end to her survival audition life and create a stage in the style she likes, the song she chose was 'Han Young-ae's Lucille', a singer from Sinchon Blues.

 

 

However, the song's composer is a member of Sinchon Blues, and Kang Sung-hee, who she will face, is currently the main vocalist of Sinchon Blues. Lim Ji-soo's singing ability is already well known, and the performance was so perfect that the audience and the judges couldn't shut up.

As soon as the performance ended, the audience and judges went crazy, and although she received rave reviews from the judges, saying, "It was as free and perfect as a possessed person ," I am worried about whether she will be able to defeat Kang Seong-hee with her blues genre. 

 

 

Kang Seonghee

Kang Sung-hee prepared for a showdown with Lim Ji-soo with her genre of blues. To beat Lim, she chose "Park In-soo's Spring Rain," which was recommended to be sung several times by people around her.

 

As the main vocalist of a band group, her strong voice that penetrates the sound was truly unique. Her voice, which swept through the space like a sharp wind, instantly overwhelmed the audience and judges.

How can we evaluate this performance? It was a wonderful song that we couldn't help but be mesmerized by. Judge Lim Jae-beom lavished praise on the song, saying, "There is no need to judge. I thought we should just shut up and enjoy it". It was a match of strength and strength. So, who is the final winner of this match?

 

 

It's unfortunate, but it was a result that I had no choice but to honestly admit. Lim Ji-soo did well, but Kang Seong-hee's performance was too overwhelming. Seonghee Kang advances to the finals by receiving  7A.

 

Repechage

In this way, the four finalists have been confirmed, and now a fierce battle to revive the losers will take place with the remaining two spots at stake. 

 

 

The losers got back on stage after an hour of practice.

 

 

The losers performed with the most confident songs, some with the same heart as the beginning, and others with the determination to show their confident performance.

In the end, after discussion, the judges urgently suggested a rule change to the production team . After much deliberation, the production team eventually accepted the judges' suggestions. In this way, for the first time in Singer Gain's history , the unimaginable happened that  the finalists were not Top 6, but Top 7.

 

 

When no conclusion was reached, the judges conspired, saying, "If it doesn't work, let's just attack and push ahead." Then, judge Lim Jae-beom stood up and headed toward the production team as if he were leading by example.

 

 

 After many twists and turns, So Soobin , LeeJean, and Choo Seung-yeop survived the repechage, and the final seven people who will advance to the finals were finally confirmed. 

 

 

Final Match

The finals also had a different format from previous seasons. The finals will feature two contests: a new song mission and a free song mission . When told that it was a new song mission, the finalists were quite embarrassed, fearing that they would have to make their own songs.

 

 

However, it is said that famous domestic composers and producers have already created songs for the finalists. These are songs by  Lee Sang- soon , Kim Do-jin, Kim Do-hoon, Ahn Shin-ae, Pocoberry & LAS, and Melomance Jeong Dong-hwan.
